Situated behind the Upper Temple, ascending 133 hexagonal stone steps is the Eight-Sided Stone Stele. Placed atop Non Tròn Mountain, this stele is housed within a 3.1-meter-tall structure, designed in an octagonal shape. The stele consists of 8 faces joined together, with the main face oriented towards the east, bearing the inscription "Phù Đổng Thiên Vương Thần Tích" (Divine Feats of the Heavenly King of Phù Đổng). Apart from the main inscription, the other faces of the stele depict the heroic stories of Saint Gióng defeating foreign invaders, various festivals held throughout the year, and the process of maintenance and repair at the Sóc Temple. The Eight-Sided Stone Stele serves as a precious relic and a valuable source of information that our forefathers have handed down to future generations.
